It's been a long journey for Premium Chick Feeds Pvt. Ltd. to be what it is today. It goes back to the year 1991, when the company was founded by 3 Directors namely Dr. Girish Kolwankar, Mr. Neil Dalgado and Dr Shyam Dhawan. The Company started as a Feed Manufacturing firm with a first year turnover of Rs. 1.2 crores. It diversified with forward integration into contract broiler farming.. It has since grown to have its operations in Maharashtra.

Parent birds (Vencobb 400 Y) are purchased from Venkateshwar Hatcheries as day old chicks. Brooding of these parent chicks is done in the brooding farm for 6 weeks. They are then shifted to grower breeder farms where they are grown upto 15th week after which they are finally moved to the layer breeder farms.
